Re: South Stradbroke Island Meet and Greet 27th July

I will have to give this one a miss Gents.
The old girl is getting a bit more work done than I first thought she needed and wont be ready in time. I hope you all have a safe and fantastic weekend. So that means go easy on the chili oil and Deathanol don't get any of either on your bare skin let alone consume it.

For anyone new turning up for their first m&g you wont find a nicer bunch of misfits and outcasts and will certainly make you feel welcome.

    Cheers Brett

I may have a spare spot. Wont be venturing outside tho. More going for the social aspect may throw a few placcys around. Cant gurantee boat reliability however. Did consider taking the tinny to have a proper fish down and around the pin. Is there anyone making camp? or the like? Are we having a bbq? or purchasing from the cafรƒยฉ? Camp fire etc? Marty can you confirm?

                  Roger Roger Tim...

I will be booking 2 camp sites to basically allow us to be there, I am happy to pay and I can think of many ways you could pay me back....especially now with the enclosed cab. BUT I will set up a 6mx3m shade so bring a chair or swag and Phillll will bring a yellow Ausfish Bannarette(its 2m x 1m) so you can see the spot. If there is noo one there pull up and make yourself at home, even anyone that is new. Bring a chair and a few BS stories and you'll be fine.
There are BBQ's there as an option and we also have the cafe. I will probably cook dibnner but will stumble to the cafe for a bacon and egger I rekon...unless plans change and I suff3r a slow death from the deathanol.....

Is the anchorage good for a sleep in the boat ? or do I roll out the swag on the sand, If I bring the right cordial it won't matter really I suppose !.Where exactly are we camping ?

Giffo, very good place to sleep in the boat, nice and calm in terms of water.
