too true, but i have many clients who pay extra tax all year to get a good refund. it suits those who would just blow it as it makes them happy at tax time and they have a lump sum they can do something with.Originally Posted by tunaticer
the ato does pay interest on amended assessments when they have been sitting on your dough for longer than a year. they also used to have very competitive rates on interest charges and had to increase them as many were using them as a loan facility.
