Noosa bar crossing
Hi fishers
Heading to Noosa for a few days later next week and was wondering about the Noosa bar crossing, based on what i can find it seems to change a fair bit. Have got a 5.8 signiture and wanted to go outside, a week out the forcast is ok for a Friday fish. Just looking for advice on the crossing.

Re: Noosa bar crossing
Mate, the bar is in pretty good nick at the moment, & the tide in a weeks time will be smaller so it will make a simple crossing. Stay about 20m off the rock wall, & when you get past it, head about 1 o'clock , just right of centre & go through. There is a secondary bar 100m or so out, so keep going till well clear before you stop to radio coastguard. Noosa runs on 22 by the way.
Friday is looking good at the moment & if it stays anywhere near that good, I'll be heading out. If you want any help, PM me & I'll send you my mobile.
Tony
