I cant help but am very interested in tips from the local fishos for the area.
Mate the weather iw turning sour so it might have to wait. Some old reports on here say its a bit ordinary there but the locals say they know better.

My bet would be a lot of catfish after the rain......
If you don't do any good in the river you could always have a fish in the golf course lakes for bull sharks :-P
on the opposite side from carbrook at alberton ive fished there number of times caught bream flathead catfish 40cm+ . caught bullsharks and also a 1.5m pike eel lol also had 3 crab pots knocked off there pm me if u want more info on the area
Try around Marks Rocks or the Pergola, use livie and hold on
