    Sailfish 6500 views

    Hi all,

There are a couple of these online for sale with twin 115 Hondas.

Any got any idea what the bit would weigh and what sort of fuel consumption it would have?

An early 2000 kevlacat is also an option.

There is also an abcat for sale in the same sorta range any views on those?

There are all interstate which makes it hard to get a good sense of the boats.

115 Hondas would be cheap enough to run, not sure how good they would be power wise though, a 6.5 Cat is a big boat! The Abcat's were a bit of a here and gone thing, a few Abb Divers bought them down south, but you never hear about them now.

I had a 6 meter sailfish with twin 90's. Great boat. Wish I never sold it. But I reckon the 6.5 with 115 would be just about perfect. Not heavy boats for there size. I also had a offshore 2400 kevlacat with 140 Suzuki and it was awesome. But a lot bigger heavier harder to tow type rig.
