Thread: Air compressor for tyres.

    Air compressor for tyres.

Looking for compressor recommendations to pump up tyres.

Must be small & portable around the house.
I would prefer 240V but open to 12V on the right unit.

2 cars + 1 boat = 12 tyres so looking for quality domestic that I don't have to cable tie to a brick to keep it on the ground?

I got one of these and man they are fast...2 compressor cylinders... good price as I have seen equivalent model branded differently for much more...

12 V in its own case and pressure gauge...I have to pump my boat trailer tyres up to 82 PSI but it handles this in seconds

Check out the compact 240v compressors with direct drive motors. These are the ones without the fanbelt.
I've had a Puma compressor now for 5yrs and used for trade with no problems. From memory it was $300.
There are others now that are even smaller and you can carry with one hand.

Bushranger is very good gear. I have had a Maxx air for about 10 years...lots of use on 31in and other tyres and excellent...goes and goes.
