    Kayak Launching Location Redcliffe Peninsula??

Anyone got a good spot to launch a kayak from the redcliffe peninsula somewhere that has good potential snapper fishing nearby and is in close proximity to a car park as i have to carry around 40kgs?

    Cheers

Margate, ramp, queens beach ramp. Both have car parks.
Snapper are supposed to be jumping in the boat. Just got to have boat positioned right. Lol

Scarby Beach is also popular for yak launches. Anywhere from the woody pt Greenzone boundary to Scarby reef is snapper territory. You would have to search hard to find any 100m stretch through that area that does not hold snapper at some stage every tide.
      Jack.

Anywhere with a beach, seriously anywhere. No ramp required.

I launch from the park at Scarborough opposite the old pub, put my kayak on my home made trolley and trundle it 50m to the water.

I have marks that I fish but many fish are caught trolling lures that dive 3-5m, or aimlessly drifting with baits or plastics. If you have a handheld GPS mark spots where you snag as its obviously some sort of structure, you will build your own database of marks.

As noted above the snapper can be anywhere from castlereagh pt to woody pt, they're everywhere.
