I love the challenge of luderick......dun like eating them though.
Have caught quite a few blackies over the last month or two, but today's session was better than most.
Two hours of fishing and landed about 10 total, and dropped a few others. Largest was about 38cm.
No specifics, but it was an obvious southern GC luderick spot, using the regular luderick techniques.
If you like the blackies, there has been lots of catches lately from Tweed right up to Brissy so now's the time.

My opinion is that you need to bleed and ice them asap, because if you don't they spoil easily. Not worth taking one if you don't have ice right there with you.
