That's seriously good work Pete.
Those threads are dead straight and no gaps before applying CP and rolling etc.
And given it's still taped and in the jig it doesn't look like much packing and tightening would have been done yet either.
here is my latest effort single layer weaves of Ned Kelly and Al Capone in raw state will post a few more pics of the finished rod.
