The Graveyards Moreton Bay

I think "the graves" is probably what it was referring to. There is a very small graveyard in the dunes on the beach south of Bulwer. Only 3, maybe 2, graves in it from memory. You will have to drive the beach and walk the dunes to find it. You fish the drop off out in front of it.

If you head west from the graves on the beach until you can see down the airstrip at tangers you should be on top of a large gravel patch. Have caught some good snapper there.
