Moonlighter ... thanks for the response. I'm told the spot is West of Moreton Is. That's all the info I have. Not shown in Beacon to Beacon. I read that snapper can be caught there.

    Re: The Graveyards Moreton Bay

I suspect your reference might just be the tangalooma wrecks, which no marks are necessary for, just go to tangalooma and you will see them. Yes snapper can be caught there.
The only other "graveyard" for boats I know of was at St Helena Island and now within a green zone. Another that used to be is now underneath Fishermans Island.

The grave yards are just south of the wreck at bulwer - a series of ledges that appear to look like graves on the sounder .

The graveyard (at least the one that I know about) is about 20m west of the OLD jetty at Tangalooma. There is a large orange bouy on the south western edge of it. Just sound around that bouy and you cant miss it.

The old jetty is no more than a couple of piles in the water just infront of the watersports hire joint. In the days gone by, the resort used to dump their scrap off the end of the jetty. It is home to tinnie bodies, scuba tanks and one larger vessel (probably 23 foot)

I have dove this and there are some big creatures on it. It also hold bait sometimes.

I think "the graves" is probably what it was referring to. There is a very small graveyard in the dunes on the beach south of Bulwer. Only 3, maybe 2, graves in it from memory. You will have to drive the beach and walk the dunes to find it. You fish the drop off out in front of it.

    It predates gps and sounders

    Good luck
