took old tim d and my youngfella off moreton this morning had a constant 15 knts all day till around 11...bar was flat as on the middle channel,headed to the 33's first did ok few in the box headed to the souther 35's and got a few ore ended up with 10 snapps ,1 pearlie ,1 bonito,1 nice cod 62cm,and 3 sergeant baker...out of this tim d got 1 snapp and 2 sergeant baker.lol...my youngfella cleaned up with 6 snapps and the cod.... pulled my pots on the way home for 25 sandies and 3 cracker muddies biggest 8 inches an chock o block full as where the other 2

I caught more snapper than you caught slimies!

Plus i did some mighty fine skippering, i hadnt even turned the motor off half the time and bull was already hooked up!


P.s well done rosco, you guys did a lot better than us!

there are still a few crabs around mate..got them where I told you bout the other week...best part was they where all aught on grinners.lol
jim,he outfished us big time today...only thing I can put it down to was he was using 1.5 ounce dayoo special sinker and I was using a 1 ounce...don't think tim d even knew if he hit bottom.lol

Good cath there Rosco.
I also fished the 35's with my brother in law for 6 snaps, 2 Pearlies and one Tusk Fish all in their 40's. All caught on Pillies and said. Cocktails were working well too.
Had a slow morning but picked up around lunch time.
Didn't see you out their unfortunately. What depth were you in? I fished the ledge from 78m up to 69m at the Southern end.

Mate we found it pretty hard going picked up 6 pearlies ,4 squabies & 2 parrot...a feed i spose.
A good day out with a couple of mates putting shit on each other until a mate needed a tow in from inside the patch about an hour before dark....he motored up behind me to attach tow line & a swell pushed his sarca anchor through my port side engine cowl.....an accident,but getting some councilling with a few bourbans now

Did alright on tuskies. Too late & too tired to clean fish & take photos, so they are still waiting on ice.

Good work Rosco. Those crabs looked pretty good back at Manly. TimD was looking a bit lost standing at the pontoon hanging onto your boat! Old mate in his yacht was in no hurry eh!
