PHP Warning: Use of undefined constant VBA_SCRIPT - assumed 'VBA_SCRIPT' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in ..../includes/functions_navigation.php(802) : eval()'d code on line 1 BRAID - 3, 4, 6 or 8 strands?
Have a look at Paulus VanGaal's website (search his name on google). He is a specialist on braded and fused lines and explains the intricasy well.
More strands does not mean thicker, it can mean thinner.
Basically it is like rope, standard rope has 3 strands each with x number of fibres.....same with braid.
Generally the higher the number, the rounder the profile and smoother it feels.
That however has its limitations when you get down to light breaking strains.
