    Decky fail at mud.

For the second time that netmaker has taken me out to mud I have been a failure.
Dave got smashed as soon as we pulled up and got a snapper on the deadstick and as normal I got zilch.
It was a bit lumpy out there with the westerly.
Dave thanks for thye day out. I still enjoyed myself.
    Cheers
    Ray

Nice mate, don't take it personal. Netmaker does it to everyone. That is a chunky looking fish also.

I've tried mud and never been successful, do you guys fish the east or north side?? At anchor or drift?

I also put in 3 hours at Mud with zilch result as well. To much movement with the wind.
I got all 4 crab pots back so that was a bonus(no crabs though) .
I am looking forward to going back there though.
    Cheers

don't beat yourself up ray. using the same gear it comes down to luck as to which goes off. being a short day and crap weather didn't help. always next time...
