Live Bait around Manly

Hi all,

Has anyone got some pinters for live bait around Manly?

I usually leave from Fishermans but with Manly a 5 minute drive it would be alot easier.

I have seen mullet jumping in the marina but not sure if they would like me going nuts with a cast net around there...

I have bait jigs too - usually leave early morning

mate,
It quite hard to get good sised mullet in the harbour..... i would def hit wynnum creek as it usaully is better for bait..

Yea Wynnum or head south to Lota. At times the harbour is full of sea mullet but they hide under the boats and pontoons. A bad cast with the net and you could be looking at a $10,000 paint job if you hit the wrong boat
