    Offshore Mooloolaba Yesterday

Headed out off mooloolaba for the day, with Frank The Fishing Machine my brother and dad. It was a fairly nice day but the fish were being fussy. Lucky Frank used Dayoo's jig head and a plastic to tempt one of the bigger Snapps.

Well done Fellas you guys make it look too easy and I swear Frankie must do some sort of chant to the Snapper gods with his packet of gulps in his hand before he goes out haha bit like the stig of fishing.

Some say he is a fishing machine I say he jumps out of his body turns into a gulp swims down and picks a fight with the biggest fish he can find and returns with the spoils.....Either that or he really is a snapper disguised as a human lol.

    Great stuff guys

    Cheers Mick

Nice catch boys, the weather was quite pleasant, were you getting the moses on the plastics as well? i was the lone boat at the northern end of the banks that you stopped near on your run back in from out wider, boat looks great on the water. fishing was a little slow around that end with mostly smaller snaps.
    Cheers Dave

There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot

I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges

Up here we Use Hussar as baits for real RED FISHS (SHSIIFDER)

    Re: Offshore Mooloolaba Yesterday

Hey dave, we got a few other fish with the plastic but they work even better when the snapper are on the bite...we always get the better quality snaps with the plastics. The stupid anchor wouldn't hook up all day. We went out wide to check an area, good show what looked like big fish and the mates that were with us on the other boat pulled up a yellowtail kingfish...and I think the other fish might of been pearlies but they weren't biting that day, only stayed out there for 20 min but will definitely go back out there again and stay longer, hope they are on the bite this time.

Dave are you sure it was our boat? I don't recall seeing any boat close to us all day. Did you use plastics that day?
