    Wellington Point

Had decided to go for a quick fish at wellington point after uni today but didnt manage to get out till about 2:30. The plan was to try out some dillies for the frst time.
Conditions were miserable and only managed to have 1 run with the dillies, still managed 3 sandies though, thanks for the advice Rosco!
On the right track now, time to get the technique finely tuned.

Also, had trouble finding the floats in the conditions and was wondering what colours are best to use for floats?

I use yellow or orange fluoro paint on mine - much easier to see if there are any whitecaps on the chop if it's windy.

yep i spray mine bright orange, best part is i can tell them apart from the other 500 floats out there
Dad reckons fishing is 10% brains and 95% muscle, the rest is just good luck.
