Mine doesn't work properly either. Could be antenna issues. Tried talking to Marty last time I was out and couldn't hear him.
I knew a bloke that had a spare hds but a couple of real scruffy types took it.........
I had an issue where finger tight was not good enough with the plug on the lead where it screws into the radio. Nipped it up with a pair of pliers and all was good.
No such thing as a fat alcoholic, just fat piss pots...
He is talking about his gps antenna, not radio. That actually worked for a change...
Muddy, see if you can borrow a lead from someone. Try resetting your GPS. I have had to do this before. I don't know why they go out of whack but they do. It must be a software glitch. Look up the intrernet to see how to do it. save your data before you start playing though

Muddy, I had the same thing on my Navman. When out one day and could not pick up any of the birds in the sky, all day we were fishing blind (nothing unusual about that). Anyway got home and did a reset on the GPS, then and it worked fine. Same thing happen once more, did another reset and it was fine again.

We did do a factory reset out there but that didnt change anything...
Another factory reset and I still have the problem.....
Changed the NMEA 2000 cable and still the same issue.......
Going down to Trymax now to seek further advice........
Going to the Swains by compass and chart..........priceless!
A lot of your mates got here without even compass or chart so think your self lucky. I heard some boats run 2 GPS antenna's in parallel in case one goes wonky.
