She's Black, she's beautiful (well I think so ....) and she's almost naked ...... there's a bit of paint and some Nylac, but otherwise virginal and untouched (for now).
Fresh off the boat from New Zealand, she arrived this afternoon at the local Surtees Dealer;

How are you going to survive taking people like Murf and I on your honeymoon. We'll crack some bioshine on her! Its about all its good for. Just kidding Murf.
Looking forward to seeing all your multiple women soon.
Looks like they've already started on a few things so she'll be good to go. She looks the goods. Should get the first 20 hrs up in no time.
No way JJ! If petrol dissolves Nylac I'd hate to see what deathanol does to it - probably go right through the plate alloy!
Jim
Nice Jim that should do Fraser very well, will it be coming to 1770?? by the way what did you name the black b!#^h & when I first looked at the title I was thinking of gumboots & WOOL lol

Nice jim, nice!
Well done Jim. I have the 5.5 Workmate. Surtees build great boats, you will be very pleased with your choice. They definitely play well above their size class.
But be very careful with the nyalic. Petrol strips it off, as does any solvent such as metho.
Cheers

Note to self: Don't argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience....
good to see you luv kiwis too jim
fishing's as simple as 3 P's - patience, perserverance and PLASTIC!
Nice one Jim. Maybe you could call her Bleck Bitty
You could call it "scourge"
Maybe even MRD?
Maybe have to call it Boat Hog 3 .... ?
Thanks for the replies guys.
2IC, would I try to pull the wool over your eyes? I will still be taking the Striper to 1770 - although Julie would like to have 2 boats there.
As for a name? It's been narrowed down to either; Short Black or Plan B
Cheers,
Jim
Good choice of boat Jim, I reckon it will punch well above its weight too

Jim - nice mate. Take it to next M&G at Woolie, we can watch you practice crossing the bar.
