Bugger
Dad reckons fishing is 10% brains and 95% muscle, the rest is just good luck.
creek
yes mate that is the plan , but will need to cross an awefully lumpy stretch of water to get to my spot if that forecast is right!

Yeah, looks horrible mate. With forecasts like this I hold out hope they got it wrong, just like those days when they predict 5-10knots and it blows it's rrrrr's off
A long way out yet and they are banking on a low pressure system forming off nth nsw. Mind you, they're getting pretty good these days.
We're planning on a beach fish Sat night so I hope they're wrong.
Yeah hope they get it wrong also. Booked on the 1 pm barge over to straddie on Friday. Oh we'll if it blows 30knots south I will be forced to fish flinders all night Saturday
how do you find the fishing at Flinders? I'm thinking of going there on the June school holidays.
sorry fellas doesnt look like they will get this one wrong.. getting worse by the day.
Guess i might have to quit the steel game and become a tax agent.

i know rosco. Where is a good place to launch in the brissy in a strong southerly? remember im coming from redcliffe not wynnum lol
ps. your little hooker jake granville had a pretty good NRL debut for Broncos

yeah mate jake went well, dont think Wynnum will get him back for a little while..i launch from fishermans island ramp when I head over...maybe someone on the northside might be able to give ya a tip on where to launch on the northside of the river....maybe pinkenbah...
I'm thinking about taking my pots out one more time to Port Alma. I've only managed 1 legal Buck so far in 2013 from 9 attempts there. This time I'm going to try the high tide back drains and gutters of Balaclava Island. A mate of mine did an overnighter there during the week for a 156mm buck. So lets hope I can find a keeper this time.
good luck aus.
Still dont know what to make of this weather.
Blowing near 40knots off the cape , yet 5-10kn here at redcliffe.
At this stage unless it turns worse here , i will be crabbing up the creek by 6.30. Really dont want to miss out on these king tides
