Took the yak up the beach from Thursday to Saturday last week for a bit of adventure.
Launched through the open surf north of Teewah and long tails on the chew. All four anglers got one each which was a pretty good start.
The next morning we hit DI headland and some close reefs under the lighthouse and I scored a good 73cm Snapper & 20+ borderline throwbacks as I didn't have a ruler.
Hit the headland the next morning and got dusted by what felt to be another quality snap on my first cast which towed me around 70m and couldn't buy another bite after this.
Hit the open beach break again on the way home and my mate & I both pulled a long tail each within an hour to top off the weekend.
