    Kimberley wild barra

Jan and I boarded the DIVERSITY II at Broome on Saturday 4th May for a 10 night sight seeing and fishing trip to Prince Regent river and return. We were accompanied by 8 others plus 4 crew. Gavin "Skipper", Mick "Blue Eyes", Chris "Grumpy" and Ellie "Chef". The weather was perfect and fishing for wild Kimberley Barra with lures.live bait and dead bait was an experience of a lifetime. We kept Barra for consumption and released all extras. Other species caught and released were Mangrove Jack, Fingermark, Javelin, Queenfish,Trevally and Tuskfish. Mud crabs and oysters were also on the menu.
Many thanks to the DIVERSITY II crew and Janine "CEO" for a trip of a lifetime. I recommend it to anyone wishing to see and fish the Kimberley.

Nice one mate. I went to the Regent many years ago. It was just after Ginger Meadows was killed there by a croc. Amazing place and heaps of great fishing.
Remember to always log on before heading offshore.

Now that is my idea of a holiday. Would love to get to there some day and do a trip like that.

Those lizards look to grow pretty big up there.

Trip of a life time, definately, and a place seemingly untouched by man.

Would have been a few PB's on the trip.

Now, fess up. Did the girls outfish the boys ????

Heard a rumour there was a last minute opening, but time-wise, no enough to get another passenger organised. The Grape Vine is in Hyperspeed, when it comes to fishing...............
