some pretty cool updates on this, new screen panels for 10 and 8 so hopefully will be able to run a full width of structure scan. will share maps via ethernet connection plus heaps more cool stuff. Ill install today and give a little feedback.

That looks as though I may be able to resize my HDS8 on multiple screens (3) and view side scanning on the full width as we discussed a week or so ago.
I'll have to get the download.

I have a gen 1 and gen 2 connected will they share maps with upgrade or only if I have gen 2.
Downloaded the update last night - very easy process.
Some good new features for my Gen 2 HDS8.

Lucee81 it will only share charts between touch and gen 2 units. Hopefully a gen 1 update will follow soon.

Hi Guys, I have the Gen2 HDS5X so unfortunately I can't upgrade my unit (no card slot) without networking it to another HDS Gen2 unit with a card slot. I wonder if anyone on the Sunshine Coast could help out?
It's no biggie but would be nice if possible...
