    Thanks for the reminder
    Finally got around to uploading the photos.
    As a trailer it has been a trailer for 6 weeks or so. Hasn't been registered yet. Maybe this friday I'll run it over the weighbridge,probably go "holy s==t" at the number and then take it to the DMR at Cleveland for the paperwork.
    In it's present state a Tare around 400kg would be good.
    Give or take a couple, or 40.

    I wanted to keep it all 1 colour. Machinery grey.
    But the youngun who still camps with us insisted on some color other than grey.
    And SWMBO took her side.
    So, in all it's glory, I give you the Blue Wedgie.

    As you have probably noticed, there is no tent on top, yet.
    Still looking, still thinking, still saving the pennies.
    Although I do like the look of the new 9 foot tents from Gordigear.
    Still thinking and drinking.

    Untill then it will be used to carry the camping gear. And store the camping gear. More room in the shed.
    That was the reason for the lid on top. This lid will then become a boat rack come crap rack come solar panel stand when the tent top is finally purchased.

    A lot of thinking and drinking came up with the 2x4.5 kg gas bottle storage.

    The next thing was a $20 gal toolbox and a grinder to come up with storage for the electrics. A sparkie mate did the 240v.
    The batteries will go underneath this box.

    And that's where it's at.
    Plenty more to do.

    A little over engineered me thinks. But it won't break.
    70 kg of lid to come off when the 150kg or so of tent goes on.
    Went over the bridge and registered today.
    The Holy S==t number is

    620 kg.

    Holy S==t.

    Hi Rod

    Thought i'd mention that I was looking at the catalogue of trailer parts from Active Fab at Beenleigh, and came across a camper tent setup they sell there. Designed to fit on a 7x4 trailer, I believe. Might be worth checking out, anyway. About $1400. Looked OK in the pictures.

    Cheers

    Brakes on there now, or needed?

    Well done mate, it's a real credit to you and I'm sure you will have many successful camping trips with the beast.
    Cheers
