umm, can you blood a new combo twice?

hi all. did another mud run this morn. left home at 10am and got to mud near 11. started at the s.e. corner and first drift bag a 45. second drift and a 39. 3rd drift and the deadstick went nuts. had trouble getting it out of the holder and when I did he dropped it. pulled up and restarted the drift and only a couple of casts in I get smashed. took plenty of line off me and I was looking at how I was going to wind in the dead stick and pull up the chute and get going after it. I managed the chute but not the dead stick. luckily it pulled up and then ran back at me and after a bit more to and froing came into the net nicely. measured 84 and weighed smack bang on 7kg or 15 lbs. home by 1.30pm and quite chuffed if I don't say so
