Thread: New boats direct/leisure freight and import?

Re: New boats direct/leisure freight and import?

Fat Buoy ha ha ..... Might have to get up even earlier now to do a bit more exercise!

What you should try to understand Miss Di is that to us boating and fishing tragic types, when we order a new boat, trailer, motor or even a rod or reel - barring personal tragedy, that is the most important thing on our minds! To the seller or supplier of shipping services it may be only one of many transactions taking place but to us it is what we lie awake at night and think about, the photos in the ad that we look at several times a day as we dream of how it's all going to be when it gets here - on or about the scheduled/advised delivery time. So, if you want to succeed in the boating game you need to be contactable and to communicate with the customer because to them it is a very very very important transaction.

    Cheers,
    Jim

    Ok, weld-off, fine.
Question is, will we be modifying an off spec imported trailer during the event?
Or could we please direct our attention back to ---------------------> Rics' Missing Trailer ??

No you won't be touching this trailer!

They are fully compliant to Aussie standards. We do the Safety Certificate on them. We are RVCS Licencees:

The manufacturer learnt nothing about customer service through the whole ordeal,That's a different thread though if anything it is a lesson to all what not to do when confronted with a customer service situation
Glad this one has ended well for all.
