curtin pays up

bit late but you know what they say. had an old mate turn up unexpectedly for a couple of days out of the blue, i think it was 7/5/13 ,any way being hard core barra and jack hunter from the burdekin was happy to get on the water in any conditions.
to sloppy for outside so we went for a run up the inside of Morton. i think it was a Monday and stormy so we had the place to ourself.
the plan was to stick our nose around the top and try to get to the fish boxes or maybe even huchies. well the c/c not the best for the rain with a strong southerly and got soaked on the way over at about 2pm.
sun came out and dried us of. no liveys to be found anywhere, to sloppy out side so chased some tuna around the bay for a wile. i don't know why i cant land one?

always ends the same 30 min fight and then nothing. anyway had lots of fun and court up on old times. 7pm wet and cold, couple drifts over curtin. BOOM. going to be a good snapper season me think ............
