Fished from Twinnies down to Savages Sat am , beautiful morning out on the river caught 2 bass on spinner baits ( 40 cm & 44cm ) & a dozen or so catties .
Back home by lunch time as the wind just started to pick up .
Hey mate what is the name of the street where the boat ramp you use is. Ian keen to get up the upper reaches of the brassy river. I live on the Gold Coast.

Stone, go just past fernvale and on the left is wivenhoe pocket road, there u will find a spot to launch. Also look at sweetwater fishing for alternate locations, bass season closes on June 1st.
