    Sandies at Bribie.

Had a bit of time to myself this arvy so decided to load the pots and head out from Spinnaker to look for sandies. Had a go at it Thurs before easter only 1 keeper and the rest to small but today was a lot better. Out of 9 crabs, 6 were keepers, good size and weight.
The fishing was poor, coupla suckers and small bream. Water outside of the passage was a bit like a roller coast ride but towards late arvo evening it flattened right out.
    AHHH the serenity.
    Cheers
    Bob.

Rather have sandies than snapper, a bunch of sandies is great, so what sort of depth did you get them?

I was watching a guy working pots in the shallows at Sandstone Point as the tide rose last Sunday. He was doing laps of his pots every ten mins and by the looks of it was getting a decent result. He was using lift dillies.
