New net and a few prawns
Picked up a new net from Pero last night which I'll say is a great net and went down around Redland bay/ Logan River to see if I could get some prawns.
Dropped a few pots in which only held a few jennies and had a quick fish in between throws but caught nothing.
Prawns, well from what I saw I wasn't the only finding them a bit thin but it didn't help that the sounder I was using apparently will only show the bottom no matter what settings where changed, so I wasn't able to put myself on top of any prawns that I knew of.
Overall ended up with about a kg of prawns with 1 tiger prawn from throwing the net blind...
I also took notice of all the different styles that people use to throw their nets, I think I need to investigate some of these because they seemed to have a more consistent spread than what I was getting.
Overall was a good day on the water.

Good for you mate. Yes, they're not bad nets at all.

I agree, net I was using the other day was a custom design made by Pero, brilliant opening, no kinks, tougher netting material, worth every dollar I paid for. Hell of a lot better than those BCF or Surecatch nets any day.
