    My return to LBG

    Been a while since I took a break from the land based game but last week I took a couple of days to give it a go again with my mate Brenton and we had a blast! Here are some pics from our trip! footage is also available in the fishing videos section.

                    Top sesh. Nice fish. You floating livies out under a balloon or bobby cork? What reel is that - tiagra or Penn International? Something like 24 kg line I am guessing.

                      We fished 10kg gear this trip and im using a Shimano Torsa and mate has a shimano tiagra 16

                        Mate great fish from a great location, but the thing I want to know was how did you know that they would be there? I would have never of thought of fish of that caliber being within easy reach.

                          just knowledge of the migration times for the tuna and I have spent a lot of time on the rocks over 20 years and fished that particular spot many times spanning a decade.

                            Awesome session there Rob. Pics like that take me back to my younger days off Tomaree Headland down at Port Stephens.

                            Word was out that the longies were on at Iluka lately.

                            Any chance of discovering where you get your livies from?

                              catch the livies right there in front of the rocks, garfish are pretty common there and yackas and slimy mackerel at times
