But that was only in Morton ( not the same bill )

There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges
Up here we Use Hussar as baits for real RED FISHS (SHSIIFDER)
Just got home, that Bill, Marty and I. To stuffed for any reports tonight and have yet to clean the fish. Will post pics etc tomorrow, just be patient and all will be reviled. But what an epic trip.

likewise....stuffed....in brief, great time!!!! We had major VHF issues and couldnt contact anyone, we did run into them eventually. Got my first Blue Moari, Brucey go his first 4.5kg trout as well as a PB Spangly at 4kg...funny thing is it was only the head Bill landed more fish than me and produced the worst fart known to man
to be continued.......
Living the dream, Barry
Yep, awesome trip, awesome mates and some awesome fish! Muddy toes will do a full report tomorrow sometime...
Well that backfired on me then didn't it . I was sort of told different ( bastards)
Went to 1770........
Won free M&G shirts..........
Had a coffee at the Gold Nugget on way home...........
Report done!!!!!!!!!!!
Going back to Bill's to day to clean boat & fish, after work. Marty will do a report he's much better at that stuff then Bill & I, and we will post up some more photos.
In summary it was a top trip plenty of stick given & received, we had trouble finding fish. It started out out great but we could not pull the big ones, a problem with Husser and a few sharks.
photos going CW - Captain Marty, drove the boat 98% of the time, Deckie Bill on clean up duty, my PB grassy emperor a 3 kg head, Wags trying to prove the Bruisecraft could beat the Riptide.

Well what a trip left Bris at 1pm monday & drinking our first beer by 7.15pm at the 1770 Tavern. Total klms travelled in the car 986klms, boat 301klms, fuel used in boat 301.9Lts Gotta love that honda! We met up with Brendan(Dunny) and his crew at the pub for more beers. We slept the night in the Pub carpark only to be woken at 4.30am by Muddy and his Motley crew shining a laser light around the boat. So down to the Servo for freshly baked bacon and egg burgers and coffee for breakfast. While we were at the Servo 2 big Shark Cats pulled in and one was a Glacier exactly the same as Marty's so he was in heaven. In the end I had to send Bruce over and pull Marty away so we could get going down to the ramp.
We headed out in great conditions and proceeded to fish, we ended up with a nice mixed bag, we'll post later the fish photos. Was a great trip, I'll let Marty fill in all the blanks.
