First boat was called Argle because after a fishing trip with the boys and a few ales the talk sounded like "argle argle argle" - say it fast and you get the idea (drunkenese!) Next boat was a Tinny that the old man christened "Hopoate" for obvious reasons Next came my first Signature which was called "Moniker" And now onto the next Signature "Mystique" named after the x-men character who changes form, so does this boat its a fishing boat then a ski boat then a cruise boat etc etc!

My 33 Berty is "Elempi". My late mothers initials were L.M.P, she taught me to fish, and we always fished together when we could, right up until just before she died.

It's nice to have her name on the boat, and have her watch over us at sea.

    Cheers,

i haven't named my tinny as yet and with the number of cracks appearing may keep it anonymous until i get a new hull. i thought i was pretty smart coming up with the name Icky Theology (ichthyology - the study of fish) but unfortunately very few people get it. the most likely now is "church" thanks to lucky phills contribution to my religion for fishos thread...

I recall member TL said is should have been called Ripped Off or I Love Apples!

Mine are pretty simple (they need to be) - I have a big boat and a little boat - so that's what we call them.........................

Might have a graphic made up for the big boat - that says................. "Big Boat"

    Nothin special about me..................

Got 2 kids called Freya and Finlay, so the boat is called Freyfin. The kids love their fishing and going out on the boat.
