Maybe swap one lure for a tee shirt? Lol
Nice hoo.
Went for a troll early last week from the pin to point lookout area and got this on our journey. Caught it trolling with a hexhead. Was a little surprised to get it as I wasn't sure if the water would be clear enough but happy none the less. Had one other hook up that lasted about 2 seconds before the fish parted ways along with my freshly unboxed lure. Now I'm just hoping I can get into the prawns so I can have a seafood feast..
Maybe swap one lure for a tee shirt? Lol
Nice hoo.
nice fish bet it performed well
That things a horse, well done mate
Thanks guys.. It performed really well, its first run went on forever!! It was like I'd back the drag off to nothing.. Total fight was around 20 minutes or there about
nice hoo bud..... did u weigh it... 18kg??? ....i have lost countless lures to bite offs.. hurts evan more when the lure is a fav proven fish killer or new straight out of box... but thats part of fishing and gives us an excuse to go shopping... its the time of year for the bigger hoo to come out to play
cheers mick
...........GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO BAIT.........
awesome fish! well done
at 6'5" I hope to catch one close to my height also.
Thats an awesome wahoo. Well done.
Cheers, Doug.
Love to use Preditek or Kingfisher lures or Viva Lures when I am out fishing.
Didn't get a weight on it unfortunately.. I thought it may have been heavier than 18kg I noticed a report on here a few days ago a bloke got one that was 25kg and it looked smaller than this one.. but that's fishing, your fish is always looks bigger :-)
That's a ball tearer, mate. I reckon minimum 25kg. How far offshore were you? Great stuff.
Cuzza
Caught it trolling in the vicinity of the rocky outcrops that come out of the water around point lookout.. I think it was around 30 metres of water and was using hexheads trolling around 17km/hr
