    Special marker

marker.jpg Do any of the old salts know what this special marker means? I've searched MSQ and they have it with other special markers and just a general blab about all their use not that specific one.

    G'day

Is this an image you've pulled off a chart?

If so, without looking at it in context, my guess is a shipwreck.

No Dave - I'm doing a written test for a kayaking instructors course and this symbol is just by itself and not on a map. I'm thinking it is something like a mark that indicates a channel within a channel - deeper water on one side. I've even got the small ships manual out but no help there.

Also looks like a wreck to me!

You are correct Dave - thanks!! Wreck showing superstructure or hull above water.
