539 Baymaster?

I am going to look at a private sale second hand 2011 Stacer Baymaster 539 in the next couple days. Asking price 29K.
It has a 90hp 2 stroke Merc (guessing not injected) with only 4hrs, Bimini, sounder and a few extras. The bloke I spoke to sounded elderly so perhaps that is the reason for the low hours.
Obviously I've not seen the boat, I'm pretty cautious and if I think it is worth making an offer, I'll have it checked out before doing so. I would prefer 4 stroke and the hp is perhaps a little on the low side, Stacer rates 70-130hp, but all things considered it seems reasonable.


So what are your thoughts? All comments welcomed!

What will you be using it for Bob? It would be underpowered even though they are a light hull. Would be a good fair weather boat to go to some of the close grounds. Must be $35 or so new?

Thanks Sheik . Buying new I would have thought about $36-37K. Like you I think it would be short on HP and since it is 2 stroke and I really want 4 stroke, I think I'll give it a miss.
