Re: Harry's hut- camp site 3 (noosa river)?
Forget the redclaw traps, none there.
The target fish up there is BASS and you'll get the occasional catfish. The bass up there aren't huge with 30 to 35 cms being quite respectable.
Take a range of surface & diving lures both hard bodies and plastic.
Your shimano raider 2-4kg 7"6 is ample although I'd tend to use shorter rods around the 6 foot mark. Casting distances are relatively short as the upper Noosa isn't particularly wide.
concentrate your casting at any likely bank side structure.
Early morning and late afternoon evening are the pick times especially is you're a surface lure addict.
If you intend to fish into the night, I'd suggest leaving a light on at your campsite so it's easily found. For night fishing you're in luck with a decent moon over the weekend.
It's a lovely piece of water. I've had many great trips there & hope you will also.
Looking forward to you post trip report.

Thanks, I wont be going alone.. Going with around 20 other kayakers so should be enough lights at the campsite.
So there is no redclaw or no one has tried to catch redclaw that far up the river?

As far as I'm aware, redclaws have not been added to the Noosa River by the "night stocking association".
There certainly have not been any report of them from the area.
IMO, I wouldn't bother carting redclaw pots up there.
However, a couple of shrimp traps would be worth it. Bass are absolute suckers for live shrimps!!
