    Passage southern end

Spent most of the day drifting around from the bridge to toorbul with the family, the three kids all caught fish, nothing to keep but they were happy, mainly little bream and little winter whiting 10 cm or so, got 2 sandies just undersized, but a great day.

    Re: Passage southern end

    Hi
Spent all of Sunday over that way although we never got up the passage at all. Plenty of small stuff around. Bonus is they must be breeding ok.

Travelled out the channel for not much more than a few of our beloved GRINNERS. Saw heaps of birds at Gilligans so decided to do a few drifts just to see if anything was about. Finally hooked up and thought finally onto something good-- a couple of 2 foot sharks was all we could get.

Never saw a boat close to us --wammy they came out of nowhere. There must of been 10 boats pop up once they saw us there. After a few more drifts and no luck we moved on and left the free loaders to it.

Moved closer in for a few nice flatties , some small catfish and yep--bloody grinners everywhere so after abit of dental work and plastic surgery they were released into the big blue sea. Multigrips work wonders.

Glad you had a good day with the family. I always reckon as long as you have fun and enjoy the day is the main thing. Adding a few keepers is a bonus.

    Cheers
    Ronnie
