MOUNTAIN BIKE

Yep a Mountain bike.. Went out this morning in the passage and on the first cast of the net for bait, i pulled up a perfectly ok mountain bike from below the Pelican Waters main bridge.

It ripped the cast net but I managed to pull it aboard, and then motored it over to the ramp pontoon left it there. There were people from the shore looking on in disbelief. The 2 young lads fishing off the pontoon asked why I had a bike in my boat, and couldn't believe I had just caught it. One of them later rode it to the baitshop, and returned as I pulled up to the ramp. His comment was that it rode like a new one, changed gears and could not believe it still had air in the tyres.

Btw, it was a yellow cheapy bike that looked like it had spent some time in someones back yard.

Oh, no luck on the fish either, just some small bream and moses perch.

Aw come on..,. That rings a bell. Stop peddling your re cycled fishy stories. You fishos tell tall tales to get us all pumped up, but I tyre of it.

Mate it does count if theres no pic on a brag mat...these are two that ive caught in the nerang river under southport bridge.
