Left clontarf at 6 am, went to Rous, no whiting just undersized sweetlip, took run over to sandhills, still no whiting , just damm big grinners. Back to Rous, still nothing. Gave Harrys a go, more grinners, over to Mud, nothing, home by 1pm
Great day on water, all that distance just over half tank fuel.

It was fantastic. I did see a sea snake.
picked up a couple of school mackerel at the beacons today - took a while though. met a guy at the scarborough ramp who did well out front with pearlies, kingfish and a snapper.
Beautiful day after the sky cleared around 10-ish.
edit - sorry, just saw which forum this was in...i was in a boat.
at least you were out there mate. I have the week off cant wait to get out there,, timed it well looking at current forecast
Dad reckons fishing is 10% brains and 95% muscle, the rest is just good luck.
