Thread: first post panic ran outboard dry

May I please slightly hijack thread to ask.....

I am an idiot, so after power flushing via hose fitting I ran the Yammie 115 2stroke on muffs for a minute or so before noticing that I hadn't reseated the top flush hose on to its blanking spot. So water was peeing out the flush fitting.

I am not too worried because telltale was also flowing and as said here it won't overheat that quickly.

Can anyone say what harm if any done?
