Hi guys, looking to do my first build sometime very soon, ready for tailor season to begin. Been looking at a ~10ft blank to throw slugs for tailor and matching it with an ABU 7000. Does anyone have any experience with MHX blanks, particularly the SU1207F-2-MHX model? Fast action, 10ft, rated 12-25lb with a lure weight of 1-4 ounces, seems to be what I'm after.

Yeh Mate ..I have only built on one MHX a 8kg 7'6" model from memeroy and was quite impressed ...Great value for your $..
And really have heard anything real bad about em on the US sites either ....

Mate I just built a MHX 7ft jig stick for a mate of mine, He says it light and he can use it all day,he tested it by catching a 50lb wahoo.The MHX range is good,I would ring Ross at rod works and have a talk to him,Im sure he could help you.
