Fishing at the Gold Coast

Me and a mate are going down to the goldy to make a day out of fishing. What do you guys suggest when it comes to finding a good spot at the gold coast? Just shore fishing...

Call into Gem Bait and Tackle on the way down and get some blood worms.They are at jacobs well rd alberton.
Try fishing where Brisbane Hway hits the beach at Labrador, you may be able to pump some yabbies there too.
Should get some whiting and others.

I like jabiru island near hope island, you can pick from 2 bridges, coombabah creek rockwall, Coomera river rockwall, and a little sandy beach. All on the 1 little island !!

And there's all ways the seaway.
