Tweed proposed parking charges

G'day Ausfishers
Have just read the Gold Coast article in the March Bush & Beach magazine. Councillors from Tweed Shire have come up with the idea of chargingcars and trailers $5.00 per hour at boat ramps around Pottsville, Kennedy Drive, Fingal, Cabarita. Obviously, their intent is to discourage Queenslanders and others to holiday in the area. I am happy to spend money in the area on acommodation, food, entertainment etc etc BUT my dollars will be lost to the area if these charges for parking at boat ramps are put into place.
Think again Tweed Councillors !!!

Yeah but it's alright for nsw wales to use qld ramps what a load of crock I think it's that they can't beat us in origin so they screw us at the ramps

Who needs marine parks with the above ?
Morons sitting on their butts and would not know what time of day it is.
If it takes off a lot of bait places will disappear as well and boats will be worthless.
