    Brisbane River 1st March

Got up reasonably early and headed down to the river with no real high expectations due to the water quality. Boat in by 5 and pots in just outside Boggy creek.
Threw the net around the poo shute and managed to get about 30-40 greasies along with some rather large mullet, got a bit over a dozen mullet in total along with some smaller poddies and herring for live bait.
Anchored up in the channel and managed to convert every livey into a cattie so time to move away from the chocolate water, headed outside just near the rockwall.
Managed to score a good swag of bream ranging from 26-34 in a couple of hours, they were smashing the prawns like no tomorrow!
Picked the pots up on the way home, the only pot that had a buck in it also had a small jennie, thankfully he was legal, the rest of the pots just had huge jennies...

A few showers during the day and still a lot of debris coming down the river, a lot of water still coming out of the river in general i think. Home and cleaned by 1pm!

timddo yea mate, had them that night and they taste great, maybe not as good as the bream but certainly worth keeping. Kept a few of the smaller ones for bait though.
