Rain and more rain at Hervey Bay (and everywhere else)

Well here I am at Urangan Jetty and not happy, it has almost been continously drizzling / raining since we got here yesterday, the first turnoff from the highway to Maryborough was flooded not far from where we turned off and so we went back to the highway, the next turnoff further north took us right in and on to Hervey Bay.

Went for a walk on the jetty yesterday and the water was the dirtiest I have ever seen it in all the years I have been coming here. It had about 300mm visibility at low tide and this morning it was down to 50mm, can't see any baitfish there and even the locals aren't fishing on it.

With more rain and stronger winds forcast I think that this trip is basically going to be spent watching movies in the resort where we are staying. Got to love the wet season!

There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot

I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges

Up here we Use Hussar as baits for real RED FISHS (SHSIIFDER)
