I think some of you guys should watch a prawn in real life a bit more. They are not always flicking around. How often do you see them just floating along in the current quite motionless. This is where the zerek and other similar prawn lures come into their own in semi clean water. A slow roll with a small flick only every now and then is a very natural look. Send it in deep and hang on!
Bought 2 the other day at BCF . special 2 for $14.95. I didnt think that was too bad, but @ $10.95 ea I would say getting dear. I have used Prawnstars for years and the only way they ever go is snag or knot failure. never had one damaged in battle. Catching all species.
This summer my son and I have done a few runs out catching fingermark, Trevally Cod Stripies etc. He is using a variety of softs, ZMans and Squidgies, I just keep using a Prawnstar. I am going fish for fish with him.

Spot on warti! An unsuspecting prawn just cruising along is a far easier catch than one that is flicking all over the joint. Ben
