Only early days yet, but looking to get a start in the next few months, am an industrial painter/blaster, (my old supervisor is super over there now, so am on the waiting list for when work ramps up) currently work on the QCLNG gas pipeline. Let me know what you think of it, cheers, roy

lol bechtel just did daunia mine run by bechtel for bma....dont ever want to work for those guys again...heading to cavil ridge soon as the hiway is openi hope they dont run this one
Haha it's Bechtel site (cavel ridge)there is different rules for mining and construction. I'm only going for the money not the lifestyle. Want to get a 6.1 galeforce gotta get the cash for it some how
Caval Ridge and Daunia aren't that bad, I've worked mining for 10 years both civil and mining sides of the operation as a fitter. You get used to it, I've made it my lifestyle, don't put it out there your only in it for the money, only my $.02cents
I realise it is not all about the MONEY I have worked in the same place for 5 years and I want a change the money is a bonus it is hard to save to buy 5 acres and build a house on work shop wages when you are renting
I now avoid Bechtel at all costs. I will never let work for them enter my workshop again.

I was on the APLNG site up until the end of October. It's not a bad set up at all. The ferries are good to the mainland but going out on the town for a few coldies sucks the big one.
