I slipped out to Palmy yesterday, the water was fairly clean and temp was 25.7.Heaps of Mac tuna but no Mackeral for me.I did not see any boated either.Going out Sunday morn after night shift,so a late start.
Hi not sure if you got out today but we have been both friday and today trolling for Marlin off the Tweed....we saw nothing all arvo friday however we ran in to a couple of dudes who caught and released a small black off the 9 mile friday arvo...as for today we trolled for more than 8 hours...had a solid strike out towards deep southern but failed to hook up (shattering after 6 hours trolling)...saw very little life all day until back in a mile or so off point reef where lots of birds working bait schools....had 2 "small" strikes but didnt hook up again...not sure what the go was.....did any1 else do any good?
Went out to Palmy this morning,(large swells rolling through Tally bar).Lost a nice little Spanish about 1.2m around the anchor rope, nothing else caught or seen caught.Always tomorrow and the next day !.
