    a little Whitsunday action.

With all the crap weather lately and no one getting out to get trip report material, I thought I would post the details from the day trip the boys on Seafever Sportfishing Whitsundays did today.
Apparently all the reefies were in the shallower water near the edge of the reef and they ended up with a great mixed bag of RTE, Trout and a few other crumbs. Trolling raised 3 Spaniards, a Sharky, a nice Longtail and a quality Rainbow Runner. A quick afternoon popping session produced 5 GTs including this 35-40kg cracker.
Sounds like a good day to me

Sadly, that's not me in the pic, I was busy busting my chops at work (as usual)! I'm assuming it was caught on one of the boats regular GT outfits: a live fibre 24kg spin stick with a 18000 Stella and 80lb braid. Ash normally runs Halco Haymaker poppers.

I apologise in advance, because I know no one really cares, but I'm doing another day trip with Seafever on Sat 23rd. WooHoo!!
